ABOUT US
Nancy Lieberman Charities focuses on improving outcomes for underserved youth in the areas of education, mental health & wellness, and career/life preparedness. We endeavor to craft transformative initiatives that not only accomplish their objectives but also nurture an ethos of inclusivity encompassing racial and gender equality, social justice, and civic involvement. Our array of programs, such as Dream Court, scholarships for education, basketball camps, partnerships with HBCUs, lectures on racial and social justice, mentorship programs, and STEM/technology initiatives, collectively contribute to the well-being, self-esteem, and career achievements of the young girls and boys whom we are privileged to serve.
Our Vision
Our Vision is to be the catalyst for the development of young girls and boys throughout the country by using sports for health, wellness, and to combat obesity and mental health issues. Sports is a motivational tool that brings people together, builds core values of confidence, self-esteem, participation, teamwork and decision making. Nancy Lieberman Charities believes no child should face those challenges alone.
Our Method
Our approach centers on imparting leadership, promoting health and fitness, and fostering networking skills. Our aim is to empower our youth with the resilience to counteract bullying and support peers who require strength and protection. For this generation of young individuals, we're ensuring access to scholarships, mentorship, and technology, creating an equitable platform for all students. Our Dream Courts establish a haven that is both safe and secure, fostering a holistic and educational environment.
Our Values
Through the implementation of educational initiatives, health and wellness activities, and mentorship and leadership programs, Nancy Lieberman Charities effectively impacts the lives of over five million youths annually, harnessing the transformative potential of sports, fitness, and education. We are committed to forging pathways of opportunity for young individuals across all genders, ethnicities, religions, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
